LEB Holiday Gift Guide: for the chef

I will be the first to admit that I don't enjoy cooking.  I can cook and I certainly have a lovely collection of tools one might need to cook a gourmet meal, but those tools hardly see the light of day.  I blame it on my small kitchen (read, zero counter space with 1 drawer kind of kitchen).  But,  I can't wait for the day I have a large kitchen with lots of room to spread out so I can cook and not feel like I'm cooking in that tee pee I posted yesterday.

Back to the point, gift ideas for the chef in your life.  This is the list of things I would love to have if I had that large kitchen

deep fryer, state cutting board, butcher salt, monogrammed apron, Vervavious spices, tray with legs, Good Morning placemats, mushrooms on a log

Every chef needs his or her own monogrammed apron.  You could even skip the monogram and have their nickname embroidered on the front.  Picture Chef Skippy serving breakfast on those Good Morning placemats.  Now that would be a good morning for sure.

Also that footed tray, LOVE how fun is that?  I'm picturing mounds of cookies and holiday candies piled up on it.

No words needed for those mushrooms on a log.  Imagine having that on your counter. Top that, Ina.

Come back tomorrow for the perfect host/hostess ideas!

I love the state cutting board, what a clever gift. It would look great of a party table with cheese and little nibbles.

Adore that cutting board!! It's so cute that they have little MV and Nantucket pieces.

Will I see you next week at the Boston Bloggers meet up? I hope so!!

I bought a cutting board from A Heirloom last year for my Dad with a heart over one of his favorite cities. It was beautiful! And they have fabulous customer service.
