Hi I like your rug!

I've been known to forget the "hi" all together and go straight to the "Oh my, where did you get that chair?"  if I happen to notice something new about a friends house as I'm walking in.

Sad that my attention goes right for the decor and not for the hugs and kisses.

Anywoo, if this was a friends entry my reaction would be...

I LOVE these colors, and this rug! Where did you get it?

Oh sorry, how are you? So nice to see you!

It looks like an antique Chinese Deco rug. It is a really pretty rug, and would look great in your place. ;-)

Definitely try the curl idea... it worked so well!

The blogfest event is in NY and it's like $100, I've missed out on all of the other blogger conference so I was thinking about going to this one since it's close and I can probably get away with crashing on friends couches ... if you decide to go let me know!

I have a much bigger rug, very similar to that, up in my office in Vermont...thanks for reminding me! I am going to bring that baby down here so we can be together every day. Maybe use it in my new kitchen?!

Seriously, same colors, very similar pattern, but in a 8x12 size.

Wish I could tell you were it came from, I inherited it.
