If you mess with the bull...

I posted about this framed scrap of paper with a saying written down, during what was probably just an ordinary day, by my late Grampy.

I felt it was time to give this little piece of family history an upgrade.  Of course I can't pass a Homegoods without going in, and of course I NEVER leave empty handed.

This time my trip concluded with a new horn frame and a new home for the scrap paper note.

I just love its new home!  The horn frame is chunky and perfect.

We all know Homegoods is hit or miss, so here are some other fun horn frames I found

And here is an up close shot, just so you can see the great saying on this little scrap of paper.

Those are definitely words to live by. There's something so special about personalized decor and you've done it beautifully with the note and frame.

That is one of my father's favorite quotes as well. I have never heard it anywhere else, although I was confident he didn't make it up. Thanks for sharing, the horn frame couldn't be more perfect!

I love the way you give importance to small handwritten scraps. And love the way your Grampy capitalized the "B" each time. :)

Hope you had a Merry Christmas!

Love, love, love the idea of framing sentimental scribblings!!! And how awesome is it that your dear Grampy jotted down one of the infamous quotes of the absolutely hilarious vaudevillian WC Fields!
