Tartan fabric + a bag of Balsam Fir goodness = an amazing smelling door-hanging-thing.
I just added gold ribbon as the hanger for a little extra sparkle and ta-da
I was making them as stocking stuffers for my family, but since I like them so much they might just have to stay at my house.
Gotta love quick, easy sewing projects that bring joy every time I smell them.

What a great idea; I can smell the goodness!
so freaking adorable! I love this!! My biggest fear is that one of my dogs would think it were a chew toy...
Very cute! And big congrats to your boyfriend on his MBA. Did he ever start those chores? Sounds like you did a lot of work the past two years too! ALways a supportive spouse in the background!

Love that fabric. I could have a whole house done in tartans and plaids. When, oh when, are we going to be able to own 20 houses so we can decorate them in all of our favorite styles? ;)

are there any extras?
Wow! great idea!! Our tree wasn't as fragrant this year so this would be perfect. I'll have to try it out-- thanks for the tip!
cute, craft lady. make me one.
Stephanie, I'll make you one if you help me out with my quilt hahaha :)
Mmm - I bet that smells yummy. Where can you buy the balsam fir? At a nursery/garden center or craft store?
Laura, I think craft stores should have something like this. If not you can order it all over the internet. I actually got mine in Maine, or I should say my Grandma got it in Maine- she gave it to me :)
LOVE this idea! thanks for sharing.
