What am I thinking?

I must be a glutton for punishment if I picked up this little lady the last time I was at my parents house:

Most of you remember this post, and this one, and this one, and finally this one.

Well, I'm about to start it all over again. Because of the new paint color I feel I need a new chair too...wish me luck on this endeavor, I'll need it.

Lol, I'm exactly the same, LOVE vintage chairs! I've had three Louis chairs for about 4 years, and gotten very far with anything... My bamboo chairs were a different story and I actually managed to paint them. Now I need to paint them again, since the color isn't right... Argh...! It does look like a lovely project though!! I say go for it!

Girl!!! We're all a bit gluttonous, when it comes to DIY, I think! My hands were hurting just thinking back on those older posts!!!
I'm positive it'll be AMAZING when you've finished! Cannot wait to see what you do with it...and I'm loving that peacock blue in the bookcases. It's stunning!

Wow, I am so excited! I really want to take on a similar project. Are you going to do a step-by-step? That would ROCK! Your previous chair is gorgeous!
