I love it and want to paint my living room black, but man am I getting resistance from my entire family. My mom says with my orange sofa it'll look like a halloween horror. Husband says it's too much. Dad hates it. We'll see if I succumb to the peer pressure or take a chance...
Gorgeous - each and every one. Isn't it funny how we perceive things, or imagine them, before we try them. If you just said "black paint" to someone they would run the other way. These rooms are stunning!
Danielle, I say take a chance!! Its only paint and no harm done if you live with it for awhile and repaint. I think you should totally for it, after all you are the one with the blog and know what good design is :)

Couldn't agree more. I just painted my living room dark dark grey (I'm calling it "light black") and I'm obsessed. The more saturated the better!

The black paint in the living room looks divine. The white really offsets the interior color well.
