VIP Seating

The wedding invites went out...ekkkk!  No turning back now (not that I would ever want to turn back, I cant WAIT to marry my love) everything is falling into place and it's crunch time now.  It's time to get all the small details I've planned into place and made.

While I'm still working on the escort cards I started to work on how I could mark chairs for the future hubby and me.  We are sitting in with all the guests, no head table or sweetheart table here and I didn't realize there are so many creative ideas out there for what are just basically reserved signs.

Weather I go with Mr. and Mrs., just and & sign, or Bride and Groom these are all super cute ideas

What does everyone think about this idea?  yeah or nay?

So lovely!! I think the & sign is my favorite, although it seems more casual than the rest.

I have those white tiffany chairs in the last photo! :)

Thanks for posting these. I'm getting married in May and have been looking for chair decorations. We're going to put colored sashes on everyone's chairs in our wedding color - turquoise. I've been looking for something to spice ours up. I love the silhouette idea!

I really like having signs. It seems like the norm around here in Virginia.

Have you seen the ones that you can customize on the Wedding Chicks blog? They're very cute!

I'm more of a preppy girl, so I love the first pic the best...but the signs are adorable!

we had our initials on our invitation and we carried that over into the wedding. The paper source has cardboard letters, which I painted and then tied to the chairs. It was easy but really cute.

A combo with the first one and a pretty monogram for each of you might be really nice. Your new monogram and his?

I can't decide which I like more...simplicity of '&' or floral with silhouettes...maybe just a pretty floral arrangement on the back? Whatever you decide I am sure will be perfect. How could it now with inspirations like these.

Yay! So exciting that the invitations went out! Love these assigned seats. Let me know if you want me to do calligraphed signs!

The silhouettes are really cute! I made bride/groom seat markers (shimmery cream cardstock on aqua cardstock to match my color scheme), and tied them to the chivari chairs with coordinating satin ribbon. I did the same for our parents' seats as well. I think it's a nice way to add more color and interest to the room and commemorate yourselves and family!
