I'm not quite at the step of figuring out seating and table placement for my wedding, since I do have to get all the response cards back first (actually that would mean I would have had to send out the invites too). But, I have been brainstorming escort card ideas and how I can direct my guests to the correct table.
There are SO many cute ideas out there- creative ones I would have never dreamed of. These are just a few of my favorites
apples
I've seen this fruit idea alot, but I still think its great- perfect for a fall wedding
Pomegranates
Pears
Or do you and your fiance really love candy- these lolly pops are adorable
Individual pomanders are perfect anytime of year
These fabric dot cards are too cute
Having a summer beach wedding? How about a tray full of sand to show off your beach chair escort cards
Love wine? These cork escorts are a perfect match for the wine table numbers I posted about HERE
Are you a reader? How about creating a card catalog of escort cards
Another bookworm idea...
Cover books in a matching fabric or paper to your wedding colors and print each guests name on the spine. A bookmark or bookplate inside the book can direct them to the right table
And maybe my favorite idea for a city wedding- these taxis have direction cards to point your guest in the right direction- LOVE!

What great ideas! Love the apples placecards for a fall wedding. We went to a fall wedding where they used the miniature white pumpkins with brown and green ribbons featuring guests' names. Very pretty.
ive been to a wedding with the wine corks before. i think its pretty par for the course in napa lol
um, i love the lollipop idea! esp if you had a candy bar as well
Love the book idea! My oh my these all seem like a lot of work, though. I guess that's part of the joy of planning a wedding.
Wow...so many good ideas!! How will you ever decide?! ;-)
Much love,

All of those are adorable {and some, a little weird}!
Pomegranates and pomanders and wine corks, oh my! Love 'em all! I haven't figured out my seating display yet, ahhh the many things to add to the to-do list!
I'd love to plan my wedding all over again. It's been 6 years and the styles have changed so much in weddings. These cards are just beautiful. I can't wait to see what you do.
I adore the fabric dot cards, too! The taxis are beyond adorable -- love it!
Those are such great ideas! I've been struggling with a creative way to designate seating.
Wedding planning is SO fun! I wish I could do it again! You've rounded up some really fabulous images.
I love all of these. Such creative ideas.
This is a fabulous collection of ideas! I can't wait to see what you decide! Let me know if you need calligraphy! ;)
Clever. Talk about gilding the lily!
You must show us yours.....what about a little souvenir...like your "tray"....

The books are over the top, the pomegranates are lovely, but I think the corks are my favorite for their simplicity. Weddings have come a long way since my big day 13 years ago! Have fun deciding!
Xo,

So many wonderful ideas...love the taxis!!
These are all great ideas!
I love those little apples and pomegranates! We did something similar but used Taffy Apples wrapped in clear plastic bags with a twine bow and handmade place cards. So perfect for fall!
fantastic clever ideas! Love them all! The fruit, the taxi, the book covers.
Oh my gosh - those little beach chairs with the tiny umbrellas are my favorite!!!!! They're so cute!
You know, I was the only one who thought a seating chart was important, but I put it off (because of RSVP's and last minute additions), and then I just didn't have time to do it. It all ended up okay, although I missed having something kind of cute to do.
Oh my! These are fabulous ideas!! So creative....
So many great ideas! Love the creativity!
The book idea is lovely! It would be really neat too if each book was then the favor for that couple... maybe a selection of favorite love stories? Or perhaps a Jane Austen wedding-- that would be really fabulous!
so many cute ideas! apples are actually more expensive than i thought. I used them for a photoshoot and was amazing how much they took out of our staging budget (we had a ton)
ohmy! those are ALL so cute, how do you choose?!! can't wait to see what you decide!
thank you for your wonderful commnent!! I loved, loved it!!! and, of course you can come live with me!! don't forget to bring the future husband too!! I'll prepare your room... see ya soon;)
xoj.
I love these ideas! My friend hung hers on a string across a mantle... it was really cute, it looked sort of like bunting.
