Boxwood tree. This one is easy to do with a floral foam base and LOTS of little pieces of boxwood. Save time for this one, they take awhile.
New stockings. Last year I did a peacock theme and the red and green stockings I had just didn't cut it. So I traced the pattern of the old ones and made these new, better coordinating ones in an afternoon.
Painted glass ornaments. Target has great plain glass balls, and with some left over paint they became part of the peacock theme in no time.
Another time consuming craft, but one that looks amazing when done! All you need is a Styrofoam wreath, toothpicks and bags and bags of cranberries. Carefully stick a toothpick in the cranberry and then poke into the wreath. Just keep going till your done and believe me its a work of art!
So, please tell me what do I NEED to have on my Christmas craft list for this year??

Crafting-wise, this season I'm pretty fresh out of good ideas but for a quickie, I do love the look of ornaments hanging from a chandelier! Great way to decorate up the dining room, especially if you have a nice runner/centerpiece underneath (like a pair of those boxwoods!).

I am also a fan of ornaments hanging from the dining room chandelier on gorgeous, thick holiday ribbon. I do it each Christmas and always hate taking it down!
Get used to it Love! The planning is so time consuming, but it pays off. I just got married on the 20th and I was so happy I dedicated so much time to making it everything I ever dreamed of and more. You may not have time for crafts, but there is always time for natural garlands for fresh, wintery aromas and bowls of your favorite Christmas candies. I can't go without those two things for sure. And candles! Lots of candles always set the mood to everything I do.

Making stockings is on my to-do list. And that list is LONG!!
Why do all my best plans for decorating never seem to make their way into reality? We did get a tree and some lights up but it looks like that is where it will end this year so I might not be the person to ask....
I can't believe I never thought of making my own stockings! I've been looking for the "perfect" ones for a few weeks now.
