Thanksgiving is officially over and its not taboo anymore to talk about CHRISTMAS!! I get the evil eye from my fiance every time I turn on Christmas music before Thanksgiving, but I can now and not get in trouble- woohoo!!
You better believe that yesterday when we finally made it home from the long weekend I had one foot out of the car and the other in the Christmas closet.
Christmas decorations were up faster then my fiance could turn on football!
We don't have our tree yet, but the rest of the decor is up, amaryllis bulbs waiting to bloom, and silver balls EVERYWHERE!
Target is my favorite source for glass ball ornaments, you can't beat the price and they come in lots of pretty colors
In other news, I'm working on a few more paper mache trays to add to my etsy store just in time for the Holiday- I'll be posting pics as soon as they are finished. Think...pink, gray, blue, green and GOLD...oh my!
I hope you all had a wonderful Turkey Day!

No way! Had no idea you had an etsy store! Can't wait to get a tray!!!
Umm...please tell me you DID NOT make that tray?!?! I want one!!! Oh and have you been to hobby Lobby for ornaments? Do you have a Hobby Lobby? If so, they'll beat Target any day when it comes to their glass ornaments;-)
Stop by your local Goodwill store too... found loads of new glass ball ornaments for pennies.

i did a little decorating and wrapping last night while plating the music on my itunes and am so excited! i love this time of year!
Yes, we gave Thanksgiving its due, keeping the fall-colored wreaths, pumpkin decorations and other items up. The day after, though, it was all-out Christmas mode, playing holiday music, hanging stockings, lights, etc. The only thing left is the live tree, which will arrive a little later. Good luck with your decorating!
I'm a big fan of that sweet tray!
i love that tray! happy decorating.
oh so happy you are adding them to your etsy shop, love them!
My outside lights are up and making me happy.
You're good...I haven't even done the first thing!!
I think that it's strange for people to play Christmas music before Thanksgiving too, but since it's over it's OK now :)
I agree with L.Duncan - Hobby Lobby has fantastically great ornaments. Happy decorating and please keep us in the loop with your Etsy store postings!
LOVE Christmas. We decorated the day after thanksgiving which is unheard of for us. So happy we did it earlier this year!
Love the tray! I can picture decorating by placing a candle on that tray and place ornaments around the candle!
I've never tried amaryllis in my house, just bec. I kill every plant that comes through the door. I saw them at Lowes last night and they were really inexpensive. Maybe I'll give them a try. Love the look.
How much are the trays on etsy. So cute!
The gilded mirror in the first picture is spectacular! Can't wait to see what your decorations look like!
can't wait to see what you do!

I love the mini tree in the first picture, and I adore the pink and red combo of ornaments on the cake stand- that's the color combo I'm doing this year!
