Evolving Ideas

This is a few months overdue but I finally figured out the perfect place for the zigzag pillow I won from Leila over at In the Tweeds. And since two is better then one I ordered a matching pillow on my own so I would have a pair.

The original plan was for them to go in my new bedroom, but I realized I NEVER make the bed so they would basically never be seen. So sad.

Off to the family room they went along with the pair of Hot House pillows I already had.

If you know me, or have been reading this blog for awhile, you know that this won't be the last change to the family room.  In fact looking at this picture I can already tell the matchy-matchy look is starting to bug me.  The room is always evolving you could say.

Anywho-this is what it looks like for now and thank you again to Leila for the pillow!

Can totally relate to the unmade bed comment! Sometimes I make mine JUST so my nice pillows get off the floor! The pillows look great!

I love it! The room is very symmetrical, which I like.

Is it sad that I'm *at this very moment* browsing etsy for bed pillows that I know for certain will never be seen? Man, I can waste some money!

But these? These look amazing, nice lil mix of color and pattern.

Lindsey--I love the way it looks! In fact, I have the same zig zag pillow and love the idea of adding the Hot House fabric into my living room. Thanks for the inspiration!

I think the matchy-matchy pillows look absolutely fantastic. A great summer look. Your living area looks so great!

If you get sick of it, and are looking for a rocker chic look, try out the embroidered LOVE pillows on Etsy. They are awesome.
