Early Inspiration

I know some people don't like to think about Christmas till after Thanksgiving...well I'm not one of them. I love to think about Christmas all year long, it's my favorite time of year!!

I feel like I'm getting a late start this year because I was so wrapped up in all my Halloween party stuff. Usually by this time I have my list of decorations, presents to buy and cookies/candy to make all set and stuff bought. Ahhh now that I think about it, I'm so behind!

This year I'm going to decorate around my new peacock blue bookshelves. Normally I'm not such a matchy matchy girl, but I'm really loving the color and I'm also loving the colors in peacock feathers.

So that's my inspiration this year- here are the colors I'm thinking about

More color inspiration photos to come later.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Oh, I'm so excited to see how this turns out Linds! Last year, a friend of mine suggested I do a peacock tree, and after thinking about it - I started to look for the ornaments I'd need at the after-Chrismtas 75-90% off racks. Thankfully, there were quite a few available to me. Of course, they all went into a box, and I had really forgotten what I bought! So putting together this tree has been quite a chore! I think I've taken it completely apart twice! LOL! I'll be back to check in as you make more progress! Wishing you better success than I've had. :)
