Party Projects

I've started getting the decorations together for my Halloween party. I have a long way to go, but most of the ideas area coming together.

While the menu needs to be finalized (if anyone has ideas for appetizers and things to make that require zero prep time the day of and can be made the day before I would LOVE them) I did make these cute toothpicks even though I dont know what they will be used for yet.

Going to find more creepy decorations/menu ideas now- I love Halloween!!

Happy Monday

Those toothpicks are SO cute! What about cheese & crackers, and cut the cheese slices to look like little pumpkins? Saw this on BHG! :)

Oh what fun! I love the toothpicks. It's going to be a great party. Keep sharing all the prep!

Now for recipes. My MIL makes a great brie thing that I love. She take the wheel of brie and put it's it in a pie dish, then she buys pillsbury breadsticks.(The kind that need to be baked.) She twists them around and places them around the wheel of brie so now the brie has a breadcrust. Then she pours so syrup on top and adds crushed walnuts. It goes in the oven for around 30 mins at 350 and it's AMAZING!!!!!

I also have a great recipe for baked clams or a taco ring that I love. If you want them email me and I'll send them to you!

Very cute! I posted my sad invites a few days ago...I would suggest some apps, but I'm afraid your Boston tastes might differ a bit from ours down south?? Let me know if you want some ideas. This ain't my first rodeo (and by that I mean I'm fairly practiced at open houses and super easy "pick-ups")!

I do have an idea for music for your party...it's different than the traditional monster mash, and different in the best ways...I definitely plan on having it looping throughout my halloween party!

Take a listen - You won't regret it! http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/kristenl
