End of the Summer

I cant believe that the Summer is over already?  It seems like the summer happens in just a blink of an eye around here, why cant Winter do that too?

The fiance and I spent the day yesterday by the water in Newburyport and it was a glorious day!

We hit up the large red barn antique market too

Lots of fun finds

Lots of things I wanted, but nothing had to come home with me- might have been a first for that :)

It was a beautiful long weekend and if you are ever in the area be sure to check out the Oldies Marketplace

Back to the work week grind...ugg

Reminds me of my husband and I - in our carefree, foot loose and fancy free days! I think after you are married and you have a few kiddo's you just might be happy to see summer go and back to a routine of school, homework, studies...
can you tell that I am a week bit happy about the start of a new year!

Looks like a wonderful way to wrap up summer! Ours was spent scraping the exterior of our house and priming, not as much fun. :)

In Montgomery, Alabama we are still in the mid to upper 90's so I will happily usher summer out for as long as possible. It is much more comfortable where you are, and those photographs are absolutely beautiful. Such blue water!
Glad you enjoyed your weekend and have a nice day.

I can't believe the summer is over! So sad. It sounds like you had a great trip to Newburyport. I love it there, it's so pretty! I have never been to this antique market before, and I can't wait to check it out the next time I'm there. We took a day trip to Watch Hill...it is such a cute little town!

Looks like a beautiful weekend; what is better than boats, water and sunshine to say goodbye to summer?!

I absolutely love Newburyport and hope to live there sometime soon! Oldies is one of my favorite places to browse. Did you check out the Wishbasket? It's my favorite store in Newburyport.
