I finally organized my Nantucket photos to share with you all. Not many words, just some pretty photos to enjoy.
Off we go...
I'm here! First stop, food!
We rented a jeep the first day and off to Great Point we went to see the lighthouse and maybe see a few seals.
I love the beach roses, they are the most amazing smelling things ever! Every time I smell them it brings back such great memories of my childhood at the beach here.
We found the seals! Often times they are not on the beach but out in the water, but this time we hit the jackpot. They were all so pretty resting on the beach.
Closer we get
A reminder to stay away....
....But one little guy came up close to us...
...I think he was showing off.
The view of the lighthouse was just stunning
A mama swan and her babies, such a beautiful thing to see in the wild
The sunset over the water was breathtaking!
Next stop downtown. These were taking over the whole weekend...
Main Street, Nantucket
It was just stunning by the water, the weather could not have been more perfect!
The last two photos are my favorite- They sum up our whole weekend- perfection!
I cant wait to go back...without the pain or the hospital stay after of course.
Happy Monday!

I'm so glad you're feeling better; looks like such a lovely vacation!
Despite the fact that I was born in Boston, and spent my teen years in CT - I have never been to Nantucket! I must visit soon...maybe in 2 years when we head up to Boston for grad school reunion.
