Great Stories

I want floors like these one day.  They are so worn and lovely,  like they have a story to tell.

They certainly add charachter. I love creaky old waxed floors like that. They smell good and you are right, they also tell a story.

Oh, I would LOVE floors like these! We have wood laminate, which is okay, but nothing at all like this!

What a beautiful room - I want to live there! Those chairs are pieces of art!

In Memphis my dining room floors looked like they had a shadow of a body on them:) They were old hardwoods. They had a story, I didn't want to know what it was.

I love that! A few years ago we uncovered wood floors in our kitchen/dining. We weren't sure what their state would be, but they're lovely - screw holes & all! The best thing about having worn floors is that you don't have to worry about messing them. I only wish we had that flooring throughout the rest of the house.

Stephanie, I would not want to know your floors story either- sounds like it would be a creepy one :)
