I'm Campaigning

I saw this cute bedroom posted yesterday and noticed the blue dresser. I love it.

Then I remembered seeing in green somewhere too

Then I even remember that Jenny from Little Green Notebook found a treasure of her own with this baby

Jealous much? I am. I love this and it would be perfect for the BF's office. I would love a piece of Campaign Furniture!

Does it hold files? Check, in the drawers.
Does it hold books? Check, on the shelves.
Can it hide other crap? Check, in the other drawers.

I need something like this- anyone have any ideas? I like the Jenny kind of deals, you know the $45 kind puh-lease!

She does get the most AMAZING deals, doesn't she??? I'd like to score some deals like that too!!

I love campaign furniture too, but sadly I know of no deals. Sorry! But I like your thinking of putting something like that in an office!

Good luck!

Thanks for the link love!!

Try searching for "campaign" "campaigner" or just "vintage dresser" (if you have about two years to peruse CL!). Also, some of the better versions are made by Baker and Drexel, so it's worth searching for those names in CL too, just in case the seller doesn't know the style name, but has seen the maker's mark inside the drawers.

Good luck! I hope you find a good one!

for some reason I passed on a Baker campaign chest at auction last year. it was so pretty but I didn't really have a place for it (and I'd already spent the cash I brought). should have written a check for that bad boy! STUPID STUPID STUPID!

I totally lucked in on a campaign dresser last week for $50 at a furniture surplus/warehouse hole-in-the-wall kind of place. So excited! I blogged a little about it today but can't get good picture bec. it's currently in my dark garage waiting to be painted. Think I'm going green. Love that Lonny pic!

Linds, I really, really hope you find one! I am so in love with the green one from Lonny! I wish I had some tips for you (maybe Jenny can keep an eye out, she *does* seem to have incredible luck!) :-)

i am in complete agreement. i was trying to detach myself from campaign furniture for so long, since i've started to see it so often -- but i'd be lying if i said i didn't just spend an hour on craiglist scouring for any hidden gems..! oy..
