Daydream Kitchen Makeover

Sometimes I like to daydream about what it would be like if the BF and I owned our apartment. I always dream about the kitchen, obviously because it is the first thing I would gut to the studs and renovate.

Here is what my kitchen looks like (picture was taken before I made the new curtain)

And here is my kitchens twin from House Beautiful- doesn't it look like it could be the same place?

I would make some changes, like the light fixture and tile that I don't like, but it would be so nice to have a kitchen like this.

Oh well, it will be just a daydream for awhile longer.

Great inspiration for your kitchen, I love that robin's egg blue which you could easily paint! I love the back splash too - Your kitchen looks really sweet!

You could pick up a cheap cover for your radiator and that would make a big difference and more flat surface area for some fresh herbs. I like to line back of cabinets with cool paper from Kate's, esp. in the glass front cabinet behind chair. Oh heck, just have a glass a wine and light some candles and dream about your future home.....

Great job on the curtain! I wish I could sew, that is a good skill to have! Love the fabric. You could change the hardware on your cabinets, pretty affordably. I like this company
