Taken from their website:
"Mission Statement: Arzu, meaning hope in Dari, is a not-for-profit organization that provides sustainable income to Afghan women by sourcing and selling the rugs they weave. Arzu helps weavers and their families break the cycle of poverty by providing them above market compensation and access to education and health care. An Arzu rug is an investment in hope."

As if their story and mission isn't amazing enough, the beautiful rugs they create are icing on the cake. Take a look at some of these beauties
All of the rugs are given names too, some of them include: Encouragement, Harmony, Hope, Protection, Patience, Resilience, Unity, Tenderness and Thoughtfulness.
I know I could use a little more Patience in my house that's for sure, even if it comes in the form of a gorgeous Arzu Rug.
