the most wonderful day

hello everyone, I'm BACK and I'm a MRS!!

Thank you everyone for all the good wishes and sweet messages while I was away- I really had the best time of my life and I would give anything to be able to rewind time just for an hour so I can go back and enjoy it all over again. (I guess all brides say this and I see why now)

While I don't have any of the professional photos yet, here are a few sneak peeks to hold you over till I get more back and organized.
First I'll show you where I was all night long...

The dance floor!!!

The room all ready for the ceremony (dinner tables set up off to the side)
hanging programs on the reserved chairs (see PVE's amazing work there- I LOVE it)

Flowers just delivered. They were bright and brighter- just how I wanted them

And the back of my dress since I know you all want to see the most important detail


As you can imagine it's going to take me some time to get back into the swing of blogging.  I can't WAIT to get settled and get my act together so I can share with you all my fun wedding projects and details that I've been dying to share with you for the last 9+ months.

    CONGRATULATIONS!!! Your event venue and YOU looked absolutely gorgeous! One of the dresses I had my eyes on was a Christos gown very similar to yours.

    Can't wait to read all about your various DIY projects!

    Lindsay- Good eye! That is a Christos dress, it's the Simone! I just had the front part of it removed- I wanted something more plain.

    OMG, fabulous! I cannot wait to see more. I'm a fellow sucker for orange and blue and elephants, which I come by naturally (went to UF and elephants were my grandma's favorite, so I picked that up from her). My wedding colors were actually navy and salmon... my variation of orange and blue. :) Seriously, those pictures of the details look amazing and you look gorgeous! Congrats. xo

    Congratulations MRS.!!!! You were a gorgeous bride! I thought of you all day on your big day knowing you were just down the road!!- what a beautiful venue. I adore your choice of flowers- so happy and beautiful!

    There's nothing quite like being a bride! I'd go back in a heartbeat! I wore my wedding dress 3 or 4 times after...dressed up as "the birthday fairy" for my little girls' birthday parties.
