Snooze

I won't go over all the hits and misses of the Oscars last night because I'm sure it's everywhere this morning. But, I will say that besides sleeping through basically the whole thing, this amazing woman woke me up every time I saw her

SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!

And that dress? Don't even get me started.  LOVE is an understatement!

Beautiful dress, beautiful woman- basically the only saving grace of the evening.
the dress is Givenchy Couture BTW

I know many of you wont agree with me, but its my blog and I LOVE her!

That is all.

  1. Mine too! I've been traveling around the blogosphere this morning defending her against the haters! We got to watch the pre show on a 65" HD flatscreen last night and when she came on and they did a close up of her face and the bodice I gasped. Not only is she stunning, but the beadwork on this dress was breathtaking. Hands down, my favorite of the night - and the only one that I will actually remember for months to come.

  6. Best dress of the evening--ultra modern but utterly classic. She couldn't have looked any lovelier.

  7. I loved the beading, but wished that it hadn't gone to yellow on the back. But the lines of the dress were wonderful. Definitely the best of the evening.

Was bummed because I was rooting for Toy Story as best picture.

  12. Snooze is right - Franco and Hathaway did not bring it last night. Cate was amazing! At first I didn't care for the dress, but the more I saw it and all of its details, it really grew on me.

  14. Totally agree. I ended up falling asleep before it was over but what I saw was not very entertaining. I did love the fashion though. I thought Mila Kunis's dress was really pretty but I know it had some mixed reviews too.

  20. That dress took my breath away. It reminds me of the flowy Elie Saab gowns but with a bit more "hardcore" twist to it with that front design.

  21. Without question, Cate and her dress were the only reasons to watch the whole event. And that's saying something coming from me, Mr. Darcy's biggest fan.
    Love your blog!
