Changing Seasons

I love walking through the neighborhoods of Boston looking at the beautiful homes and apartments,  specifically the ones in Back Bay.  Their front gardens are always perfectly manicured and the front doors always freshly painted- everything seems to be in beautiful order.

On a walk to work the other day I happened to have my camera and snapped a few of my favorite fall sights.

The kick plates on these huge wood doors were beautiful, they had the perfect green patina to them.

Mums and more mums

I just love this brick pattern

the moon was still out

pretty Greek key detailing

Another shot of the moon over the front gate of the Boston Garden

The trees were beautiful at the peak of their fall change

At the end of my morning walk, off to work I go.

Have a good day everyone!

  1. Just beautiful, I visited Boston about two years ago in the fall and loved it, such a clean city. We did the duck boats and Fenway Park too!
    Thanks for sharing!

  2. My husband and I had lived in a cute little apartment (A former's doctor's office in Albany). We both had jobs that would let us live anywhere. We really love Boston and visit often, and we had an offer in on a beautiful condo in the Back Bay neighborhood. Then, we found our dream farmhouse jsut outside Albany and decided to stay here (we are currently remodeling). Seeing pictures like this really make me miss Boston, though!

  5. Such pretty photos! I got married downtown, and we were able to get some photos in Back Bay (sitting on someone's steps), and those are my favorite photos. It's just gorgeous around there.

  10. so pretty! I don't think our leaves are going to be very pretty this year thanks to getting no rain at the end of summer. I shall live vicariously through you!

  11. So beautiful! The thing I miss most about living in New England (spent 4 years in CT for college) is the fall and the leaves changing. We just don't get that kind of color and great transitional weather here in TX.

  27. Boston is without a doubt one of my favorite cities. My daughter went to BC & for those 4 years it was wonderful to have the chance to visit regularly - even we were picking up & dropping off a lot of the time!
    Best,
