A Lighting Rainbow

While shopping for a new lampshade at my local lighting showroom I found myself drawn to all the gourd lamps.  Their shape and the wide variety of colors they come in make them a great choice for so many bedrooms, family rooms, living rooms and so on.

The two I saw were blue, here they are


I got to searching through my inspiration files and found so many more beautiful gourd lamps.

    I just bought one from Marshall's for $30. It's hot pink right now and definitely needs a makeover becasue our master bedroom is a deep chocolate color with lots of whites and creams. The pink just needs to go... I think I'll be doing the same thing Janelle did with her's.

    If I was allowed to bring one more lamp into my house...I would have to pick up a few of these. My smurf lamp is the closest thing. And it needs a partner right now.

    We can not live with out our beautiful gourd lamps. Great way to add pop to a room. Love to mix them with Jamie Young lamp shades.
