I have a big thing with fabrics. Although I'm pretty sure I'm not along in this obsession because most anyone who loves interior design loves it and what it can do for a room.
I stalk fabric sites daily checking out all the fun patterns they have and day dreaming about how I could use them.
Premier Prints is always coming out with new fabrics and a huge plus is that they are super affordable.
I'm not alone here, you all love fabric too, right?
Question- where is your favorite fabric place to day dream at?
i've only bought fabric once and it was @ a local lil shop - i don't know how to sew unfortunatly .. so i only use fabric if it involves glue or staples :o)

I dream many a dream of fabrics... Though I don't act on it most of the time. Hoping that will change in about T-minus 15 days when we move into our place!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite day dream locale is actually lying in bed just before I go to sleep...I actually get my best ideas then as I run through everything I've thought about during the day!
I am crazy about fabrics! I've found the best resources and styles simply through other people's blogs, like yours! Janell

I think what I love about fabric is just the design elements and I dream of where it could go. Not always in my own home but in imaginary rooms in my mind.Always dreaming aren't we?? I have to check our your resource, Kathysue
ReplyDeleteI too have a big thing with fabrics and especially love Premier Prints! So cute and cheap. I've been wanting to design some custom fabric on http://www.spoonflower.com but haven't come up with a good enough pattern yet. Have you ever tried it?
ReplyDeleteKyle, I've never tried Spoonflower! Like you, I havent come up with a good enough pattern. I've heard good things about it though.

ReplyDeleteI love fabric too! When I first went into college I was a fashion design major...it later changed, but I still have the <3 !!
ReplyDeleteLove fabrics and I'm loving the new premier prints patterns especially Togo. Reminds me of a lot of Albert Hadley's fireworks line!!! Love, Love, Love!
ReplyDeleteI could look at fabrics for hours online, but I'm a tactile girl. I absolutely have to feel the fabric before I'll commit.
ReplyDeleteF. Schumacher fabric kills me. I could spend hours on their website--as well as the website of Cowtan & Tout. Have you seen the wallpaper and fabrics up on One Kings Lane lately? It's killing me and fabric is starting to pile up around me!!
