Well I finally finished! Everything is organized by magazine title, labeled and back up on the bookshelves looking oh so pretty. I even put a felt bottom on the inside of the boxes so that my magazines have a nice cushy home and the corners don't become all worn... I know a bit over the top

Thanks to the BF who went to Ikea this weekend and picked up 5 more boxes for me because I didn't have enough. I thought 20 was enough, but I thought wrong.
*For those interested: the wood magazine boxes are from Ikea and are called the KNUFF Magazine File. Before the paint and label they look like this
those look great! We just put up shelves in our office and I have been looking for magazine holders. I can never find the color I like, but these I can totally customize! nice find!

ReplyDeleteJenny- at 4.99 a pop the price could not be beat. Plus they are wood, I didnt want cardboard since I knew I would be painting and repainting these as I got bored. Also I had a bunch I bought awhile ago so I figured just stick with the same ones...I cant stand things not matching :)

ReplyDeleteSo very nice and uniform. I, too, am a label-lover but my things are not nearly as neat as yours. I'm an obsessive recycler, too - and deeply regret putting most of my back issues of Domino into the blue Boston Recycling bin instead of into lovely file holders like yours. :(
