Once I got the board hung up and stuff on it I decided the white was just too white and looked blah to me.
I feel like it gets lost up there- no pizazz
So off the white fabric came and a piece of burlap went on and added the texture I thought the corner was lacking
So, what do you think? Did it look better before...should I put the white back on?

Do you like it better now?

Hard to say. I like both versions. The burlap texture is great, but what you have on the board adds a nice amount of color so the white doesn't get too washed out. but now looking at it again, I think I prefer the burlap - makes it stand out against the wall just enough so it'll look better when the board is more empty.

ReplyDeleteBurlap totally works with the galvanized stools. I'm all about a white-on-white theme, typically...but it mos def needed texture! Again, thanks for the corkboard idea...I've been meaning to post mine. Maybe I'll include it when we {finally!!} get our mudroom finished. I also am now on the hunt for a chalkboard...but as I'm allergic to chalk I need a good alt, that ISN'T a dry-erase. Any thoughts?!?!
