Born in the USA

Well actually not quite...but today the BF becomes a citizen! His family moved here some 20+ years ago in order for his Dad to attend graduate school and this is where he grew up. Today, after many years here, he will officially be a United States citizen.

In honor of this special occasion I am posting some of my favorite red, white and blue inspired interiors









And last, two of my favorite all-American images a gorgeous Southampton home and a fabulous bedroom featuring the flag of the United States :)

    Wonderful! I'm always brought to tears when I see those programs featuring people who have just taken the oath of citizenship - they just seem so happy and proud to be a part of this great Nation!

    P.S. - The rooms are awesome, too! ;)
